He is a recognized expert in his field, has published numerous papers and book chapters, and has served as a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals. He is a founding member and past Member of the Board of the North American Skull Base Society, and Past President of the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
